Most hustlers are driven and share many of these things in common. They:

  • set many goals
  • are always working on multiple projects concurrently
  • are always busy, listening to podcasts, watching lessons, reading for knowledge, attending more courses.. Etc

Most of these folks do so much they forget this important thing:

Resting… well.

Athletes know training without rest will cause injury. And everyone knows that if you are sick, the doctor prescribes rest.

But do we need to feel unbearable pain before we take action… to rest?

Many complain their minds are racing and they can’t get to sleep even when they are already in bed or wake up in the middle of the night.

Even the Bible stated God rested on the 7th day after creating the world.

Try these 3 things before you start to feel overwhelmed.

1. For at least a few hours, detox from consuming any content and courses. Or just play.

Of course, if you have a brilliant thought or idea, write it down! But take time off to play.

Do something with the only goal of having … fun!

2. Sleep early or take naps

Nothing heals the body and mind like sleep. Deep sleep. Both western and eastern medicine agree that if you go to sleep between 11pm-2am, your body gets the most benefits of deep sleep.

Scientist has confirmed even a short 15-20min power nap can do wonders.

3. Meet up with a friend or family,

Social activities have proven to inspire better intelligence and creativity. Like call a friend for a meal or watch a movie in the cinema.

If you are well rested, you will feel more recharged and energised. And when you go back to your projects and you will perform better than before.
